This is a members area for dental professionals and dental students. Creating an account gives you no standing with the College — that comes only from a paid affiliation, or from a title the Membership Committee grants you.

Nothing you tell us here is published unless you are admitted and you consent to appear on the public register — and you can withdraw that yourself at any time.

Your account

Your email address, so you can sign in. There is no password: each sign-in sends a one-time link. Sessions are stored so the College can end one if an account is compromised.

Your registration

Your name, the country and town you practise in, your dental registration route and number, the country that issued your licence, the country of your dental school, and your year of graduation.

We do not ask about your implant experience when you register — you are welcome here if you have never placed one. It is asked only if you apply for a College title, which is when it matters and when you have an answer.

None of this is published, and none of it is verified by the College. It is what the Membership Committee reads if you apply for a title. An account carries no standing with the College on its own.

Why we ask everyone. This members area is for dental professionals and dental students: a professional register, benefits negotiated for clinicians, and education for people who place implants. The College restricts it to that audience, so asking who you are professionally is part of what the service is, not an extra. Your registration number is used only to make sure two accounts cannot claim the same one — it is not checked against any regulator, and it is never shown publicly unless you are a member and consented to it. If you are a student you give no number at all, and no licence country.

Applications

The grade or programme you applied for, the year and jurisdiction of your first implant, your qualifications and supporting statement, your signature — drawn or typed — and the date, your confirmation that you have read the fees position, and whether you consented to appear on the public register.

A drawn signature is stored privately and shown only to College staff reviewing your application. It is never published, never sent anywhere else, and every time a member of staff opens it that is recorded.

Affiliation

That you requested one, the period paid for, and any reference the College records. No payment is taken in this application and no card details are held here.

If you are admitted

Your certificate number, grade, admission date and route, and your certificate as a PDF. Your entry appears on the public register only if you consented, and only what that consent covers.

Records of what happened

Actions taken on your record — who changed what, and when — and every consent you gave or withdrew. These cannot be altered or deleted once written. That is deliberate: a professional register the College could quietly rewrite would be worth nothing.

Consent to appear on the public register is optional and always yours to withdraw. You can do it yourself in Your details — your entry is removed from the register at the next publication, without asking anyone.

Withdrawing it does not erase your membership: the College keeps its record of who it has admitted, because that is what a register of record is for.

When you register, apply for a title, apply to study, reserve a place at an event or request an affiliation, we email you to confirm it arrived. Those confirmations tell you what happens next — they never repeat what you wrote, because email is not a secure channel.

The same events notify College officers, so an application is seen by a person rather than waiting in a system. They are told who applied and for what, with enough detail to deal with it.

• DigitalOcean — hosting, database and file storage, in Amsterdam.
• Brevo — sending the emails this area produces, in the EU.
• GitHub — publishes register entries to the public website. Only entries you consented to are sent.

Everything is hosted in the EU. Nothing here is sold, and nothing is used for advertising.

• Unsuccessful applications: 12 months from the decision.
• Accounts that never complete registration: 12 months from creation.
• Member records: for as long as you are a member, and 10 years after that.
• Certificates: for as long as the member record they belong to.
• Consent and audit records: 10 years, matching the member record — they are the evidence for it, so they should not expire before it does.

Ten years because a certificate issued today may be produced years later, and the College must be able to say whether it is genuine and what standing it represented. After that the record is deleted.

You can ask for a copy of what the College holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, object to how it is used, or ask for it to be deleted — subject to what the College must keep as a register of record. Write to [email protected].

One cookie, which keeps you signed in. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, and nothing shared with anyone else — which is why this area asks you to accept nothing.
